Request account deletion

Learn how to request deletion of your Yenuba account and what happens to the company and its members.

Updated on August 26, 2026

What you can request

You can ask Yenuba to delete your account and associated personal data when no legal or contractual obligation requires us to retain it.

Request deletion from the application

  1. Sign in

Access Yenuba with the account you want to delete.

  2. Open account settings

Find the account and security section and select Delete account.

  3. Review the impact

Yenuba shows what will happen to your user, company and other members.

  4. Confirm the request

Complete identity verification and confirm deletion.

If you own the company

Before deleting your account, Yenuba asks whether you want to transfer company ownership to another active member.

  • If you transfer ownership, the company remains active with the new owner and only your access and account are deleted when appropriate.
  • If you do not transfer ownership, the company closes and all of its members become inactive automatically.

Request deletion by email

This is the currently available method. Send the request from the email address associated with your account whenever possible.

Use “Yenuba account deletion request” as the subject so we can identify it quickly.

Send a request to appyenuba@gmail.com

  1. Identify the account

Include your name, registered email or phone number, and company name.

  2. Explain the request

Include the reason, a description and why you want to delete the account.

  3. State what should happen to the company

If you are the owner, tell us whether to transfer ownership and to which member, or close the company.

  4. Wait for our response

The team may request additional information to verify your identity and protect the account.

Response time

The initial response confirms receipt, states whether we need to verify additional information and explains the next steps. Completing deletion may take longer when a legal retention obligation applies.

Data deleted and data that may be retained

When the request applies, Yenuba deletes or anonymizes the personal data and access associated with the account. If the company also closes, its members become inactive and company data is deleted or anonymized when appropriate.

  • We may retain information required to comply with legal, contractual, tax or accounting obligations.
  • We may also retain evidence needed for judicial or administrative proceedings, fraud prevention or dispute resolution.
  • Retained data remains restricted to the purpose that justifies retention and is deleted or anonymized when that obligation ends.

The policy explains the general retention and deletion rules that apply to personal data processed by Yenuba.
